Mobile Gymnastics Unit

Cartwheels are a mobile pre-school gymnastic and physical education organisation, who currently run gymnastic classes in Nurseries and Pre-school establishments.

We have been established for 13 years and are currently operating in Harrow, Brent, Hillingdon and Hertfordshire.

We believe that physical fitness and wellbeing is paramount in today's health conscious society.

Knowing that the general fitness of children attending your school will be of importance to you our aim is to extend the curriculum of Nurseries, Kindergartens and Playgroups by enhancing both the mental and physical awareness of the children in your care.

Cartwheels provide fully qualified BRITISH GYMNASTICS PRE-SCHOOL COACHES all of whom are members of the National Coaching Foundation. We offer a variety of challenging activities, a safe environment and the use of first class equipment & apparatus.

According to Practice Guidance for the Early Years Foundation Stage " The physical development of babies and young children must be encouraged through the provision of opportunities for them to be active and interactive and to improve their skills of coordination, control, manipulation and movement.......... They must be supported in developing and understanding of the importance of physical activity and making healthy choices in relation to food" (EYFS DfES )
Cartwheels follow all EYFS guidelines to ensure that all children benefit from the above, to produce a healthier, more confident and happy child.
